Project Manager

Zsófia grew up in Budapest and moved to Berlin when she was 20 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in political science and French linguistics. She became a member of AEGEE last year, after returning from an Erasmus-year in Paris. As an international student, she experiences the importance of the EU firsthand in her everyday life and has voted for the first time in the 2019 elections.

While growing up, she saw the impact of civic activism on multiple occasions, which has deeply inspired her to study the role of NGOs. In fact, Zsófia would like to pursue a career in that direction. As a member of the Local Actions team in 2024, she decided to continue the project in 2025 and is excited to unite her passion for civic engagement with helping others get more familiar with the advantages the EU has to offer.
