Keep in mind that you do have to register to be on the voters’ list. The procedure is simple, all you have to do is submit an application form, available online or at the municipality’s office and post offices across the country. As a young person under 25, you can also submit the form electronically. More information here.

Deadline to register: you have to register by 2 April 2024.

If you are a Cypriot citizen voting from another EU country

Do you live abroad?  To vote, you need to register, similar to voting in the country. You can get the registration form online here. If enough citizens are planning to vote, the authorities will create polling stations at embassies and consulates. Afterwards, you can only vote in person at these polling stations, on election day.

Please keep in mind that you can only vote if you meet the condition of the six-month residency requirement before registering on the electoral roll and if you moved abroad right after.

If you are an Cypriot citizen voting from a country outside the EU

The same rules of registration apply when voting outside the European Union. However, please keep in mind that you can only vote if you meet the condition of the six-month residency requirement before registering on the electoral roll and if you moved abroad right after.

As a legal resident in Cyprus, you can of course vote there! The same rules of registration and voting procedures apply as to Cypriot citizens voting in Cyprus (check above).
