Bente has been a member of AEGEE-Utrecht for more than 5 years now. Originally she’s from Delft in the south of the Netherlands. She studies cultural anthropology but she’s currently doing a sustainability internship at the Dutch government. For the Y Vote project, she’s a member of the Ambassador Programme. This means that she organises training our ambassadors and helps out with making workshops and other educational materials. She has never voted in an EU election before. During the last elections in 2019, she was on exchange in Germany and she couldn’t come back home to vote. Next year will thus be her first time voting and as she finds EU politics very important, she hopes to inspire others to do so as well!
