Who we are

Y Vote is a project of AEGEE-Europe. AEGEE-Europe is an NGO registered in both France and Belgium and legally represented by the Comité Directeur as described on www.aegee.org/contact. All project members of Y Vote are volunteers.

The Y Vote Project respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy statement explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data in connection to the Y Vote Project according to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) [2016/679]

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it

Analytics

We use the following analytics software tools for reporting and impact measurement:

  • Google Analytics
  • JetPack (WordPress)

The only data we share is an accumulated amount of visitors (e.g. the amount of users and visits within a certain time frame).

Transparency

  • Comments
    • We do not allow for comments to be made
  • Media Upload
    • We do not allow visitors to upload any media
  • Contact Form
    • No data is stored on our servers, as the messages are directly sent by e-mail.
    • Content may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
    • Any data from the contact form is processed by the Y Vote Project Team based on our legitimate interest in contacting and collaborating with the Project Team.
    • Your personal data will be received by the Y Vote Project Team only and will be retained until the end of 2025.

Who do we share your data with

The Y Vote Project team is the only entity having access to your data. As a project of an NGO, AEGEE-Europe, we only share this information with this organisation.

Your Rights

You will retain the following rights: the right to access your personal data, rectify your personal data, erase your personal data, object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
