If you are an Estonian citizen voting in Estonia

If you live in Estonia, you have actually many ways to cast your vote. You can either vote in advance, between June 3 and June 8, by going to the polling station in the same district as your residence. Suppose it happens to be nowhere near your residence. In that case, it is also possible to vote in polling stations open in rural municipalities and cities outside your district ( from Monday to Thursday, during Elections Week).

You can also vote online by using Electronic Voting (i-Voting) from 9.00 AM on 3 June 2024 to 08:00 PM on 8 June 2024. Learn more here.

If you are an Estonian citizen voting from another EU country

If you live abroad or you are travelling, you have different options to vote. You can cast your vote in person at an embassy or consulate or you can choose to vote by mail or online. Make sure to submit an application to the Estonian authorities if you decide to vote by mail. Learn more here.

If you are an Estonian citizen voting from a country outside the EU

If you reside or live in a country outside the European Union, you can vote just as you would do inside the EU. Check the conditions above.

Deadline to register: only if you want to vote by mail, make sure to submit an application with the Estonian foreign authorities not later than 30 days before election day.

If you are an EU citizen voting in Estonia

As a legal resident of Estonia, the same possibilities to cast your vote as Estonian citizens apply. See above or learn more here. If you haven’t voted before, you have to apply to be added to the voters list. The authorities should notify you about the deadline, before the end of March 2024.
