Where can I vote?

If you are a Slovak citizen voting in Slovakia

Since you’re a Slovak citizen, there is no need to register. You only need to show your Slovakian passport at the polling station you’re registered at. If you want to vote at a different polling station, you’ll have to ask your municipality for a voting card no later than a working day before the elections.

If you are a Slovak citizen voting from another EU country

Do you live in an EU country other than Slovakia? Unfortunately, you cannot vote for Slovak MEP candidates!

Your only option is to vote in the EU country you live in.

If you are an Slovak citizen voting from a country outside the EU

Do you live in a country outside the EU? Good news! You can vote in the European Elections! But since you can not vote by mail or proxy, you would have to vote in Slovakia in person on Election Day.

Since you’re a Slovak citizen, there is no need to register. You only need to show your Slovakian passport at the polling station you’re registered at. If you want to vote at a different polling station, you’ll have to ask your municipality for a voting card no later than a working day before the elections.
